Fire and Evacuation Services was founded by ex-Firefighters whose soul's purpose is to keep communities and businesses safe, that's why not only do we supply all types of fire extinguishers to businesses across Yorkshire and Lancashire, but we also offer fire extinguisher commissioning, monthly inspections, basic services, extended services, recharge and overhaul in accordance with BS 5306-3, The British Standard for portable fire extinguisher maintenance/servicing.

The legal requirement set out in the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 that includes the company's responsibility for the safety of your employees, visitors and building. This includes the provision of adequate fire safety equipment throughout the building. However, simply providing the equipment for firefighting and protection is not enough. You must also routinely inspect and maintain the equipment to ensure that it will function correctly in an emergency.

We can also offer support through our fire risk assessment service, putting into consideration when siting fire extinguishers, the 30-Metre rule, outlined The British Standards BS530 and states you should be no more than 30 meters away from the appropriate extinguisher, on any given level of your premises.
